Concept Design 2017 In 2017 we were engaged by Telstra to pitch for the design for their new Future Retail Environment - FRE 1.5. Telstra’s brand agency Interbrand had developed a ‘Playbook’, the brief required taking this playbook and showing how it could manifest through the design principles and persona, into a physical store. Managing a team of 4 designers over a 4 week period, we developed a concept that was truly a physical manifestation of the brand into the stores. The store layout is designed into 3 distinct areas: - The gallery, were Telstra display products - The lounge were waiting becomes relaxing and informative - The workshop, where telstra staff provide tailored product solutions for customers Telstra’s colour spectrum was used as highlights through the fitout, and the full design/wall units was developed to be totally modular allowing the store to adapt and change as technology/customers required.
