Branch 360 collaborative workplace

Bank of Melbourne and St.George, Various locations, NSW / QLD / VIC 2013-2015 The Branch 360 design for both Bank of Melbourne and St.George Bank, evolved the traditional banking environment into a collaborative workspace. Due to the increase in online banking, the Westpac Group realised that one of the key reason’s customers came into a bank was to meet with a professional and workshop financial solutions. I was asked to reimagine the banking customer journey and to provide a variety of consultation areas, the final result is 3 key workplace areas all of which provide graded levels of acoustic privacy. Firstly, there is the IT Hub, a modular lounge seating area that provides device charge stations, and an open discussion table, this area was designed to be a relaxing/open environment for informal meetings. At the next level up, we have the consult cube, designed as a corner booth meeting workspace, this was designed to provide a relaxing informal meeting space that is acoustically private, and all about the conversation with its side-by-side seating configuration. The final workplace is the traditional style office, with over the desk consultation and acoustic privacy, as well as one office that provides acoustic and visual privacy.
