Corporate Business Banking Hub, Flagship branch 2014 As part of the concept for the new flagship Bank of Melbourne branch at Bourke and Elizabeth Street, a separate Corporate Business Banking workspace was designed, to provide an area for Corporate bankers to have an office space in a central city location, as well as a business hub to meet with clients. The area had to provide a variety of meeting spaces, informal seating options included lounge seats in Bank of Melbourne's brand teal colour fabric with timber coffee tables, these are aligned near the digital screen and can be repositioned to create a seminar/presentation area, in addition to these the iconic acoustic meeting chairs are included, that allows clients to meet in a public environment yet provides a level of audible privacy. Formal meeting areas consist of 7 separate glass front workstation offices with moveable vertical whiteboards, offices 4 and 5 have a dividing retractable folding glass wall, and specially design tables to allow the 2 offices to turn into an 8-person meeting space. The full design has leveraged off the new branch design, adding the bespoke design additions/carpet/colours and locational graphics to ensure the Bank of Melbourne’s brand DNA is present.
